MSO Will Debut This Stealth Grey McLaren 600LT at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance

On this Sunday the 26th of August, bespoke specialist McLaren Special Operations will unveil the ‘McLaren 600LT in Stealth Grey by MSO’, on the Concept Lawn at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Complimenting its Stealth Grey MSO Bespoke paintwork, this 600LT is also equipped with MSO Defined options and MSO Bespoke customer selections, representing the degree of personalisation possible with the hardcore McLaren sports car. The LT series comprises McLaren’s most focused sportscars and supercars, delivering extreme performance and thrilling driver engagement.

600LT highlights include its unique top-exit exhausts, an output of 600PS from its 3.8 liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, and the ability to hit 60mph from rest in 2.8 seconds before achieving its 204mph (328km/h). McLaren Special Operations Managing Director  Ansar Ali said, “MSO Bespoke was established to help customers realise their dreams and allows an almost limitless level of customisation where imagination is the only restrictive factor.  With MSO Defined we offer a range of personalisation beyond the standard factory options. For this special 600LT we have combined a sprinkling of both to create a car that showcases the lightness and track-focused performance of this latest Longtail variant.”

Alongside its Stealth Grey Bespoke paint finish, this 600LT’s aerodynamic features are accented by a Matt Black and McLaren Orange Exterior Pack. Paying homage to the 1997 McLaren F1 GTR ‘Longtail’, the Visual Carbon Fiber Roof Scoop is a key MSO Bespoke addition and intensifies the driving experience with its active air induction soundtrack while fully functioning as an optimized air intake system. A track telemetry camera integrated into the scoop cover provides a useful visual record and reference point for lap analysis.

All three MSO Defined Carbon Fiber Upgrade packs are presented on this 600LT, including the front splitter, door mirrors, exterior door inserts, rear deck, service cover, and rear bumper and diffuser. Further weight reduction measure include the Carbon Fiber Front Fender Louvers, MSO Defined Carbon Fiber Roof and Cantrails, and Ultra-Lightweight 10-spoke Forged Alloy Wheels finished in Gloss Black to complete this 600LT’s ‘Stealth’ aesthetic.

The interior carries through the 600LT’s track-focused heritage with the MSO McLaren Senna Super-Lightweight Carbon Fiber Racing Seats with contrast stitching in McLaren Orange matching the exterior striping, the MSO Clubsport Pro Pack’s 6-point harnesses and harness bar, and the Carbon Fiber Interior Upgrade Pack including central tunnel and door insert panels. The visual carbon fiber roof scoop cover and intake hoses are also seamlessly integrated into the headliner, further enhancing the interior’s character. The Stealth Grey McLaren 600LT’s excellent specification is rounded out by the upgraded 12-speaker Bowers & Wilkins Audio System and detail touches including a set of Bespoke hand-painted keys, a discrete ‘600LT’ logo etched on the throttle pedal, and Bespoke Embroidery in the headrests.

Other McLaren appearances of note at this year’s Monterey Car Week will include the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans-winning F1 GTR #01R which will be driven by 2-time McLaren Formula 1 world champion Mika Hakkinen for demonstration laps at Laguna Seca during the Motorsports Reunion, along with the P1 LM prototype XP1LM by Lanzante Motorsport at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering.
